This Baby Goose figurine is an original MILWERK design inspired by the wooden birds of iconic Danish designer Jacob Hermann. This sweet little baby is handcrafted from Oak hardwood which has beautiful grains and has been used for centuries for everything from fine art and furniture to the Notre Dame! The very first baby goose I made was Oak and is still one of my favorites! The eyes are inlaid Walnut and the feet are solid brass. This little mini-sculpture has a very fine, smooth finish and is sealed with non-VOC Danish oil. Signed (engraved) MILWERK with the year of production. Packaged in a nice gift box.
